Andrew C. Adkisson, BPM Fabrication Manager—
Andrew brings over 15 years of experience in the field of orthotics and prosthetics. He appreciates the fusion of art and technology that working with orthotics and prosthetics gives him.
Since 1997, he has been visiting Germany every other year to gain the latest in orthotic and prosthetic technologies. Over the years, he has brought German technicians to North Carolina to share experience and knowledge, and he is responsible for bringing prepreg to AOPC and introducing the first custom prepreg course in North Carolina.
Andrew enjoys the challenge of working on special cases that other practices or individuals decline. In his spare time (believe it or not, he does have some!), he enjoys backpacking and mountain biking in the various beautiful areas of Western North Carolina.

Gabriel Hargett, Lab Technician —

In addition to his love for cycling, he enjoys golf, fly fishing, hiking, camping and anything else that involves the outdoors. Gabriel also has a talent for restoring classic motorcycles.
He is the youngest and newest member of the lab, and is working diligently to provide customers with the highest quality products.

Adam Winton, Lab Technician —
At age 14, Adam went on a camping trip that would soon lead to his love of mountain biking. Lucky for us, his passion for mountain biking led him straight to AOPC!
Adam soon realized that he was mechanically inclined and gifted, so his first career was as a bike mechanic.
He was also fascinated by the use of prosthetics in movies, such as Robo Cop and Terminator. Thus a career in mechanical engineering was the next logical step for Adam. Andrew Adkisson recognized Adam's mechanical talent, and asked him to come work for AOPC. Adam saw the potential of not only designing prosthetics, but designing them better.
